Deborah Kim, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She specializes in treatment during pregnancy, postpartum disorders, major physical illness and psychiatric disorders, PMS/PMDD, menopausal issues, and treatment resistant mood and anxiety disorders.

Dr. Kim attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Pennsylvania.  She went on to complete a highly recognized 2-year research fellowship at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center.

Prior to establishing her private practice, Dr. Kim was a member of the psychiatry department at the University of Pennsylvania from 1998 – 2015. Dr. Kim began studying TMS in 2005 and has trained with the foremost TMS experts. While at the University of Pennsylvania, her research was focused on the use of TMS during pregnancy for significantly depressed women. She speaks both nationally and internationally about her TMS research which has been published in multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals.
